Guglielmo was launched in 2004 in Italy.
Our business started with the rise in need for wireless mobile connectivity, dealing mainly with the management of WiFi access on a geographical scale.
Our access platforms have now reached more than 30.000.000 registered users.
Currently we are focusing in the design and development of original hardware and software solutions with great attention to customization process and the infinite details that are decisive in the most complex implementations.
Our reference markets are Retail, Hospitality, Large-Scale Venues and Large-Scale Public Areas for events and exhibitions.
In 2021 Guglielmo has become Innovative SME according to Art.4 del DL 3/2015.
As a name, Guglielmo is an explicit tribute to the Bolognese physicist Guglielmo Marconi, the father of telecommunications and inventor of radio waves.

Guglielmo is a member of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), a global organization which aims to create seamless and interoperable WiFi services, through the cooperation and collaboration between the leading service providers, technology hubs and regulatory boards. By means joining the WBA Guglielmo aims to embrace the Open Roaming standard to offer the best quality of experience for both guest and corporate networks.
Next Generation Cloud Pioneers
A group of Italian companies cooperates with Cubbit to design a future where their own data are managed through a distributed, secure and redundant cloud service. Guglielmo joined Cubbit’s Next Generation Cloud Pioneers in order to be able to offer new cloud services that put data ownership first with a secure corporate cloud backup.
