System & Network Engineer

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
• Operating Systems: Familiarity and hands-on experience with Unix/Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS) and FreeBSD, as well as Windows and macOS systems.
• Networking:
  • Good understanding and knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching).
  • Hands-on knowledge of firewall systems and applications.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Knowledge of:
  • Public cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
  • Virtualization systems (VMware or Proxmox).
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work independently, managing tasks, priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills, customer-oriented mindset and effective communication skills for ticket management.
  • Ability to communicate and interact appropriately with company Team Leaders and direct managers.
• Languages: Good spoken, written and reading skills in English.

• Professional certifications in Networking (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, WCNA, JNCIE-ENT or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of major wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, 4/5/6/7).
• Hands-on experience with firmware and systems FreeBSD / pfSense.
• Knowledge of major architectural paradigms and maintenance procedures.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to experiment with new technologies, particularly in networking and/or systems administration.
