WiFi in Freezer Rooms: How to Ensure Coverage in Extreme Conditions

We are pleased to share that Kymata took part, together with our partner Grupo Tecon, in the XVII Jornada Logística del Frío held in Madrid on June 16.

During the event, Tecon presented a successful project developed with Helados Alacant, focused on one of the most critical challenges in cold‑chain logistics: ensuring stable WiFi connectivity inside refrigerated chambers. Kymata’s radiant antenna technology allowed the WiFi access points to remain outside the low‑temperature environment while delivering reliable coverage inside the cold rooms, ensuring continuous operations even under extreme conditions.

This case demonstrates a key principle of cold‑chain digitalization: true innovation starts with making sure that connectivity works exactly where operations need it.
